The new pro line is a good addition to the EXATEC, CYTEC and CONTEC root posts made of HT glass fiber, which have been tried and tested worldwide for more than 20 years. It is characterized by the same outstanding properties, particularly with regard to stability and secure bonding with the composite.

pro LightTransmitting over the entire apical post area for an optimized and at the same time shortened primary curing of the composite, right up to the tip of the root post. The dentist gains valuable seconds in a tightly timed schedule to be able to carry out the next work step without losing time.

Advantages of our HT glass fiber root post systems

The high flexural strength
of 1,678 MPa (EN ISO 178) with HT glass fibre optimizes the stability of the root structure.
HT stands for High Tenacity, for maximum flexural strength and fatigue resistance.

Homogeneity of the root structure
The fiber composite materials have an elastic behavior that is more similar to that of dentin than that of titanium or zirconium, for example. The root post, composite and residual tooth thus form a more homogeneous unit that supports the stability of the construction.

Functional post
The shape of the postconsists of a cylindrical and a conical apical part. In the head area, rounded retentions support bonding with the composite and they also serve as anti-rotation. In the apical region, spiral-shaped grooves provide decompression and retention.

Microretentive surface
Exatec, Cytec and Contec differ from their root posts due to the special mesh structure of the post surface. This micro-retentive surface supports the adhesive bond between the post and the resin (bonder/composite). The result is a secure adhesion – even without the use of a silane – quite simple and efficient.
